With the Saturday TV repeats of Pooches at Play Series 3 now finished, this also means our two competitions are over and some worthy winners have been chosen.

Once again we saw some very talented pets showing us their special trick or skill in our Smart Pets Competition for the chance to win the pawsome prize pack valued at over $2000.  The Major Prize included a $500 PETstock gift voucher and year’s supply of pet food, a $500 Endota Spa gift voucher from our friend’s at HIF Australia and $500 worth of Family Parks vouchers.

We also had the New Age Caravan competition running during the last 3 weeks of the series for the chance to win $250 PETstock gift voucher and $250 worth of Family Parks vouchers.   In this competition we asked viewers to send in their ‘pet-friendly’ caravan modification idea.  This time around the winning idea came from Ruby Chavon who suggested inserting a doggy door in the caravan door, with a pull out fence to create a secure yard and keep your pooch safe.

As for our Smart Pets Winners, check out the video compile and meet them below.

FCONGRATULATIONS to Scott Mckinnon and his dog Trevor for their winning entry that showed off  ‘Trev’s’ frisbee catching skills with great finesse.  Trevor was very impressive by running and catching 5 frisbees in a row without missing a beat or dropping a frisbee!

Our three runner ups were pretty adorable too and included:

Doody the 13 year old parrot who showed off some very fine singing skills.

Wilson the singing pooch who also made us smile with his ability to keep a tune.

And congratulations to Ruby-Jane who took the time to teach her dog Scout a series of new tricks so that they could enter the competition together.

Ruby & Scout
