Pawsome Prize Pack Winner – Round 2!

Pawsome Prize Pack Winner - Round 2!

What a busy time it has been here at Pooches HQ.

We have commenced production on our third series of Pooches at Play, and this time we are introducing some new furry, feathered and scaly pals!

Series 2 has also just finished it’s second run on Channel TEN which means our winner of the second Pawsome Prize Pack Competition, that ran again during our repeat screening, has just been chosen.

Drum roll please….  Congratulations to Anderson Kiddle and her well deserving dog Buzz, who has survived being hit by a car – twice – and is still always wagging his tail and happy to run around the park despite his limp.

Once again it was near impossible to choose one Overall Winner, with so many deserving pooches, heartfelt stories and creative rhymes to choose from.  But, unfortunately there can only be one winner.   Here’s the little ditty written by 14 year old Anderson.

“We love our beautiful Buzzy boy,

as he brings our family so much joy.

He’s done it tough, but is the bravest dog by far,

twice he has even survived being hit by a car!

Yet despite his pain and now arthritic bones,

he always has a cheeky grin and never groans.

When we get home from school he will never fail,

to be waiting at the door with his ever wagging tail.

He’s a special boy that has gotten into strife,

so he deserves to be spoilt for the rest of his life!”

Congratulations to our 10 Runner Ups who also had some deserving stories and poetic entries: Heather Guest, Victoria Vartuli, Zak Antoniou,Tilly Connors, Riley Hughes, Grace Monaghan, Mary Grimson, Kimba Morgan. Shaelyn Evans and Rhianne Sutherland.  You have been sent an email from Pooches at Play so please check your inbox, or junk folders if it is not there.

Thank you to everyone else that entered. It is clear how much everyone loves their dogs and how much they love their owners in return.  Keep an eye out for more competitions here on our website, and also on our social media channels @poochesatplay on Instagram and Facebook.

We’ll have more exciting news soon about Series 3, coming to your TV screen from Saturday 1st September 2018.
