Why did you choose this particular breed?
Manchester Terrier’s have a short coat, which is great for people with allergies. It is also a good sized breed and loves a walk, but doesn’t go crazy if we miss one.
Is their personality/behaviour in line with what people may associate with the breed?
As a terrier, they can be yappy with a need to guard the property. They are great with kids if properly socialised early.
Any Tips for someone considering getting this breed?
Even though Oscar doesn’t go crazy if we miss a walk, they do need a good sized yard as they love to run. He can be timid, so lots of interaction with other dogs and people as early as possible is a must to build their confidence.
